scope: The 43,000 sq. ft. basin was transform into a usable public space. The project includes a picnic and performance area, lighting, native vegetation, gabion rock walls and low seat “ribbons” that function as an amphitheater. The entry roundabout features a vegetated gabion rock terrace with accent lighting. Responsibilities included collaborative design, project presentations, community workshops, cost estimates, graphics, construction documents, and coordination with the city engineer and environmental scientist.
