Various Master Planned Communities | Landscape Designer | Planner
Worked on various master planned communities including Estrella (Newland Communities), Saddlebrook Ranch (Robson Resort Communities), Fire Rock (Toll Brothers), Vistancia, Adero Canyon, Fireside, Canyon Side, Scottsdale National Golf Club, Tahoe Beach Club, Villas las Riveras (Mexico), and Twin Arrows Housing at the Navajo Nation. Responsibilities included site inventories, graphic lotting grading studies, entry monuments and theming, hardscape and planting plans, construction documentation, presentation layouts.

Casa Grande National Park Master Plan | Landscape Designer | Planner
An academic team project through the Drachman Institute. The project called for a master plan focused on the tourist experience throughout the site, trails, resting areas and visitor comfort. Responsibilities included master planning of the site, design of viewing and seating areas, trails and amenities; site visits, team coordination and presentation to the National Park Service. (completed while a graduate student at The University of Arizona, 2010)
Scottsdale Downtown MP Update | Project Manager
The project includes extensive community involvement, an urban design plan and development recommendations. Responsible for the preparation of community workshop materials, project coordination, collaborative document writing, and facilitation of public meetings, workshops, and charrettes. The project received an APA Award for community involvement.
Scottsdale Downtown Entertainment & Arts Districts Pedestrian Mobility Study| Project Manager
City of Scottsdale Transportation Department, a Maricopa Association of Governments Pedestrian Design Assistance project.
A year-long study to assess pedestrian mobility in four major districts and determine where improvements were needed. Responsible for site inventories, project presentations, team coordination for collection of data, development of graphics and maps, collaborative document writing, and recommendations for capital improvements. The project received an Arizona Planning Association Best Study Award, and aided COS in receiving federal funding.
Gilbert Industrial Campus Pedestrian Improvements | Project Manager
The project called for a re-design of pedestrian amenities and sidewalk to improve pedestrian safety and comfort. Responsibilities included site inventories, design and construction documents; presentations to client, and submittal of project.
Gilbert Heritage District Pedestrian Improvements | Landscape Designer
The project goal was to designate and preserve a neighborhood as historic, with an effort to improve the local aesthetic and thereby increase market value. The project scope called for extensive site inventories and design recommendations for pedestrian improvement and aesthetic enhancements. Responsibilities include site inventories and analysis, selection of historically appropriate vegetation and amenities, streetscapes redesign, design presentations, and collaboration with EcoPlan Associates to meet federal historic designation.
